Jaco Costa Rica and Jaco Beach Costa Rica is the most popular beach in Costa Rica. Its proximity to San Jose, great night life, surfing, central location, unique shops and galleries make Jaco a must for most itineraries. Jaco is quickly becoming the largest seaside community in Central America. Many condo towers have been completed and even more are still under construction. Towers up to 18 stories high are currently being built and Jaco Beach will soon have the second tallest building in Costa Rica.
The Jaco night life scene is very diverse and some excellent international restaurants have been added in Jaco recently. There is an abundance of bars that host live music including Latin music, rock and roll, blues and Jazz. Hard Rock Casino has just recently opened in the Jaco Fiesta Hotel and there are also casinos in the Hotel Cocal and the Hotel Amapola while larger casinos are currently in the planning stages.
Jaco Real Estate is one of the hottest real estate markets in the world with high appreciations over the past five years. There are still great opportunities for all levels of investors from low-priced condos and lots to luxury condos, villas and estates. Within three years, a new highway will connect Jaco to the capital city of San Jose with a driving time of less than one hour making Jaco literally within commuting distance of the city.
Several new marinas are in the planning stages near Jaco that will compliment the successful Los Suenos Marina that has currently sold out all of their slips.
There is excellent shopping options in Jaco including giant chains like Mega Super and Wal Mart (Mas x Menos) but the small shops or tiendas are part of what gives Jaco its character.
Jaco Tours include some of the best sport fishing in the world, ATV tours, canopy tours, an aerial tram, jet ski tours, parasailing, ultra light, horse back riding, kayaking, a sunset cruise, and many other tours are available for your Jaco vacation to Costa Rica.
