LOTS OF SURFING GOING ON IN THE CENTRAL PACIFIC REGION: THE LAST DATE OF CIRCUITO NACIONAL DE SURF DAY STAR (CNS) CALLED COPA REEF TERRACE TO 2 AND 3 MAY IN HERMOSA BEACH. There will be various activities throughout the weekend. The activities begin at Hotel Terrazas del Pacífico on Friday, May 1 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Come out and support your local surfers! On Friday night, Surf Fashion Weekend will be presented by the National Surf Circuit (CNS). It will be held Friday, May 1st from 9:00 pm in Morgan's Cove Hotel (formerly Hotel Jaco Fiesta). There will be a fashion show with Chica Reef and No Name and Wishes of Venus brands. In addition, there will be a Surf Video Premier Preview of the National Circuit 2008-2009. The entry fee is 2,000 colones. This event will include the Surf band "Los Cuchillos”. The surf contest will continue on Saturday, May 2nd with activities beginning at 7:30 am with the Finals of the Surf Tournament. From 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, there will be a full celebration with a Sunset Party followed by Tag Team competition. The Awards Ceremony of the National Surf Circuit will be presented from 7pm to 8pm; which will be followed by part II of the Surf Fashion Weekend from 8pm to 9:30 pm in Hotel Terrazas. The night will be concluded by a concert with Gentleman & the Far East Band. The entry fee for the concert is approximately 10,000.00 colones ($20).
